The Time Traveler's Wife
by Mike on Nov.23, 2008, under Books
I’ve been listening to books from Audible for a little while now but never felt the need to write about any particular book before now. I’ve just finished The Time Traveler’s Wife which is a very well written story set around a very clever feature. I know others have said that having the main character Henry travel in time is a gimic but to my mind it works very well. You get so used to hearing the introduction to a section or chapter announce the age of Henry that when you read another book you start to miss it.
I’m by no means a book reviewer but I would say that I really enjoyed this title even though it is not the kind of thing I would normally read. My Audible book selections tend to be made from the top ten most popular lists and I haven’t been disappointed so far.

Well it finally arrived and I’ve been playing with it a lot since. I really like OSX but it is taking some getting used to. VMWare Fusion is also fantastic for running the few Windows bits I still need. It’s going to be a while until everything is setup and configured but it is getting there.
There have been lots of complaints online about the screens but the one I have seems fine. The only disappointment is the Wireless Mighty Mouse I bought with it, sub-standard and overpriced in my opinion. On the other hand the external keyboard I bought to use with the external monitor is fabulous.
